Our mission
The internet has a trust problem. AI-generated images, manipulated media, and out-of-context clips spread faster than anyone can fact-check them. It is getting harder to know what is real.
Evida exists to close that gap. We give journalists, creators and everyday people a fast, explainable way to check the authenticity of images, videos and audio — so that trust does not depend on who shared something, but on the evidence behind it.
What we do
Every check combines five complementary verification methods.
Metadata & provenance
We inspect C2PA content credentials and EXIF data to trace how a file was created and whether it has been altered.
AI generation detection
Statistical and model-based signals flag content likely produced or modified by generative AI systems.
Digital watermarks
We look for embedded watermarks like SynthID and IPTC markers that publishers and AI tools use to signal authenticity.
Reverse image & source search
We cross-check where else a piece of content appears online to surface earlier or original sources.
Forensic pixel analysis
Compression artefacts, noise patterns and error-level analysis help spot manipulated regions.
